Tasting Notes

Nose: Immediate aromas of toasted oak and dark toffee open the experience, giving way to a complex bouquet of dried fruits, baking spices, and subtle herbal notes. A faint wisp of vanilla and clove hints at the international wood influence. Palate: The palate is assertive yet finely balanced. Sweet and spiced at the fore, with bursts of candied orange peel, roasted coffee bean, and peppered caramel. Layers of oak-derived tannins and toasted almond develop mid-palate, supported by a creamy mouthfeel and a vibrant backbone of orchard fruits. Finish: Long and warming, with a lingering spice and an elegant dryness that speaks to the complexity of the hybrid cask ageing. A whisper of dark chocolate and sandalwood remains long after the last sip.
