Description

Tasting Notes: A very scotch-like bourbon, flavourful and robust from having aged in a new barrel, but not as sweet as a traditional bourbon. Aged about 18 months, this bourbon was the brainchild of Rob Easter from Workhorse Rye, who first put the recipe into barrels.

Hot rubber, pretzels, slightly bitter baker's chocolate, warm leather and hard candies define the palate. A delightful toasty nose that leads not with peat but with warmth and sophistication, unbelievable depth and maturity for its age.

Awards: San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016 - Double Gold American Distilling Institute (ADI) Craft Spirit Awards 2016 - Silver.
