Le Breuil Origine is the pure expression of Golden Promise. Notes of peach, pear, hazelnut & fresh malt on the nose. In mouth, it offers flavours of vanilla & dry fruits. Good balance between freshness and roundness.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

Description

Château du Breuil, spirits producer since 1954, has created the first French single malt made 100% from the Golden Promise old barley. This barley is famous for giving intense malted whiskies, long and silky in mouth. By selecting this one for its first range, Château du Breuil has chosen quality instead of quantity. Indeed, the Golden Promise is known for having a low yield per hectare (1/3 less than the modern varieties) and in pure alcohol (10% less). A rare and high quality barley that the producer respects during all the production steps (traditional malting to respect the grain, a low intensity during the kilning to emphasize the flavours of the cereal. Double pot distilled and aged in a mixture of French and American oak barrels.
