Matured in ex-American oak bourbon casks and finished in port wine casks, this 5 year old heavily peated single malt displays a complex yet harmonious profile. The interplay between Octomore's signature intense peat smoke and the opulent fruit character from the port casks reveals powerful yet refined palate featuring smouldering embers, plum, black cherry, and a hint of dark chocolate, culminating in a long, warm, and exceptionally balanced finish.
