Pinard Brothers, now in their 20th generation of winemaking, continue to champion organic and biodynamic viticulture in the Sancerre region. The Les Grands Champs vineyard benefits from a prime location on steep, mineral-rich slopes, where the vines are meticulously cared for to optimise fruit quality and expression. The wine is fermented with natural yeasts and aged in large neutral oak vats to maintain purity and highlight the vineyard’s unique minerality without excessive oak influence.
Les Grands Champs reveals a bright nose of citrus blossom, green apple, and wet stone minerality. On the palate, it delivers a fresh and focused profile, with flavours of lemon zest, quince, and chalky mineral notes. The wine is supported by crisp acidity and a textured, mineral-driven finish that lingers with clarity and finesse.
This Sancerre’s vibrant acidity and mineral backbone make it a superb companion to seafood dishes such as oysters, scallops, and grilled white fish. It also pairs beautifully with goat cheeses, light salads, and dishes featuring fresh herbs or citrus, bringing out the wine’s natural brightness and complexity.
