Rives is a 100% Spanish owned family company, established by Don Augusto Haupold, a German consul in Malaga and visionary entrepreneur. Gin Rives has been produced in El Puerto de Santa Maria since 1880, with extreme refinement and care, respecting the original recipe, which distinguishes its clean dry taste.

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

Excludes perishable or personalised products or those products that have been specified as non-returnable.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Description

In 1976 they built a new modern distillery in El Palmar de Santa María in the province of Cádiz, with 30 metre high column stills, two large 100 year old John Dore copper pot stills, which are used for the distillation of the botanicals and a reverse osmosis water treatment plant.

A super premium hand crafted gin in small batches with a unique taste. Easy to drink yet powerful and complex; the result of a process in which no detail has been overlooked. Rives Special Gin is distilled directly from Juniper Berries and ten other seeds and natural plants in exclusive copper stills designed by the Master John Dore.

Tasting Notes: A high quality gin with a clean and lightly complex nose with subtle notes of juniper. On the palate the gin exhibits a perfect balance between the alcohol and the rich nuances of the botanicals. The finish is fresh and personal with an abundance of toasted almonds.
