Since its inaugural vintage in 1972, Silver Oak has built a reputation as one of California’s most lauded wineries. Their Alexander Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 24 months in new and used American oak barrels and a further 18 months in bottle before release. The wine is plush and rich while retaining wonderful balance and focus.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Description

95.5 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 3.6 percent Merlot, 0.5 percent Cabernet Franc, 0.3 percent Petit Verdot, and 0.1 percent Malbec make up the 2017 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The final blend was matured for 24 months in American oak barrels beginning in early 2018. The 2017 Alexander Valley vintage featured half new barrels, giving our wines a nuanced, layered flavour of bay leaf, coconut, and vanilla. The Silver Oaks winemaking style of blending before barrel age allows blends to be based on the inherent attributes of their vineyard components before oak influence. The resulting Cabernets are integrated and ready to enjoy from vintage to vintage.
