The Spirit of Hven Sloe Gin is full-bodied with fresh acidity and a delicate mellow bitterness. Sweetness is clear and balanced. The aftertaste is long with light menthol notes, giving a delicious freshness.

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition.
You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

Excludes perishable or personalised products or those products that have been specified as non-returnable.

If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name.
If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.

At a Glance

Locally harvested Sloe berries are macerated with, sugar and some cassia bark, to make this organic gin.  After 3-6 months, the gin has extracted loads of delightful, aromatic scent and an explosion of taste from the berries; and the base in our Sloe Gin is ready.


About half of the macerated gin is separated and filtered. The rest of the volume is brought to distillation in our beautiful copper pot stills. The result is a wonderful delicate distillate with massive fruitiness and scents of ripe berries and almond. This crystal-clear distillate is then mixed with the first half of the base.  Hven then balances to perfection with Gin, Sloe juice and sugar with sugar at 100g/L and alcohol at 28,6%vol.

 

First scent teleports you directly to a cornucopia, overflowing, with fresh ripe berries, dark fruits and dried, caramelised grapes. A while into the pleasure of nosing it, the Sloe Gin releases voluptuous aromas of vanilla and almond, flanked by a light herbal note. The bouquet is filled with flowers, fruits and berries, elegant junipers, and a delicate citrus scent.
