The Tether 2019 is a full-bodied Napa Valley Chardonnay partially aged in new French oak. This scrumptious Californian Chardonnay has a tropical edge as well as wonderful purity, a clean, elegant texture, and a great finish.

Tether Napa Chardonnay is made by the talented Anna Monticelli who has world-famous wineries such as Cheval Blanc and Bryant on her CV. Her day job is making highly rated and extremely premium single vineyard Cabernets for Pina Wines, however, this is her own project. The fruit is sourced from Oak Knoll and the cooler, maritime Carneros district. The wine is barrel fermented and aged in 50% new French oak for 16 months.
The 2019 Tether Napa Valley Chardonnay emerges from the glass with impressive aromas of ripe honeydew melon, white peach, jasmine and grilled almonds. The creamy mouthfeel reveals a rich texture yet remains completely balanced by vibrant acidity and freshness on the palate. The lengthy finish showcases integrated elegant toasty French oak.
