Description

The Rare Cask's rich mahogany-red whisky exemplifies two of The Macallan's most identifying characteristics: sherry-seasoned oak casks and natural colour. Rare Cask blends expertise, ability, passion, commitment, and imagination to create a really extraordinary whisky. This Rare Single Malt Whisky is a blend of the widest range of casks utilised in maturation on The Macallan Estate, and it's designed to show off complexity and depth. The blend of sherry seasoned American and European oak casks, with a high proportion of first fills, produces an excellent and clearly woody whisky with a rich colour, hand-picked by Macallan's expert team.
