The Macallan Red Collection 71 Year Old Rare Single Malt Whisky (yes, 71 years old!) is a phenomenal whisky, matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned casks and barrels and bottled at 41.6% ABV. Stunning concentration and length.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Description

The nose has a sweet and spicy opening, with wood spices, soft ginger, nutmeg and orange peel moving into rich vanilla. These characteristics continue on the palate with a sweet ginger sponge moving into the creamy vanilla flavours of a baked custard tart. The epic-length finish is rich in wood smoke, peach and hazelnut.

Macallan's strong respect for time, tradition, and workmanship is reflected in the Macallan Red Collection. Every step of the process is a celebration of the wide range of reds found naturally in The Macallan. Starting with founder Alexander Reid's name—literally "The Red," to The Macallan's 'Choice Old' line debuted over a century ago in 1903, to Allan Shiach labelling antique Macallan bottles with a red ribbon in the 1980s.
