The Tsiakkas Porfyros is a medium-bodied red wine blend of Merlot, Shiraz and Agiorgitiko, grown organically in high-altitude mountain vineyards on the island of Cyprus. It displays rich yet elegant flavours of plum, dark chocolate, and coffee.

Tsiakkas is a Cypriot winery established in 1988 by Costas and his wife Marina Tsiakkas. Cyprus is one of the oldest wine making countries in Europe offering a unique and historical terroir of indigenous varieties. Located in the Limassol region on the Troodos mountains near the Pelendri village between 1000-1400m altitude, Tsiakkas is also an organic driven winery since 1995 preserving the terroir and encouraging biodiversity.
Tsiakkas Porfyros is red blend made from Merlot, Shiraz, Agiorgitiko. The vines are ungrafted and phylloxera-free planted on very steep mountain slopes over 1500m above sea level. The grapes are handpicked and cold soaked for 10 days with their skin. The vines are grown on sandy, volcanic and clay soils between 700-1000m above sea level from a combination of the regions Pitsilia and Krasochoria. Perfectly paired with poultry and stews.
