Almopia has a long tradition and culture in the distillation of Tsipouro. A unique type of grape known only to the area called amasi is used. It undergoes a 6-hour distillation in a copper still and is left to rest for 2 months before bottling. The nose and palate are fragrant, with floral and herbaceous notes.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Τhe procedure of the production is traditional and the recipes are secret. Natural spring water from Kaimaktsalan mountain is the key ingredient along with other carefully selected raw materials. The Arhontiko is the leading brand of the Melissanidi Distillery and consists of an Ouzo and Tsipouro.
