Description

Terra Serena's Vigne Verdi Chardonnay is an elegant and delicate, lighter style white wine with crisp freshness and clear minerality. It has strong notes of crisp green apples and pears, with some hints of lemon zest and floral aromas. It receives wine that has already been fermented, which undergoes filtration and refrigeration. Once this process is complete, the wine is filtered to obtain a clear and faultless wine. Finally, the wine is bottled under isobaric conditions.

About the Producer

Vinicola Serena was founded in 1881 and has continued to innovate since then. Now in its fifth generation of family management, under the guidance of Giorgio Serena assisted by Chiara and Luca Serena, more than a hundred years of history and tradition blend with state-of-the-art facilities. With a focus on the sparkling wines for which their home region of Treviso, near Venice in north-east Italy, is famous, the Terra Serena brand represents superb value.

Tasting Notes

Terra Serena's Vigne Verdi Chardonnay is straw yellow with green highlights. It is a lean, fresh, crisp refreshing Chardonnay with strong notes of fresh green apple, bread crust. It is a dry white wine with good freshness.

How To Enjoy

It is excellent when served as an aperitif, and is best paired with delicately flavoured hors d’oeuvres
