Description

Ben Walgate co-founded Tillingham winery, an innovative, biodynamic, pioneering English winery set up in 2017.

Ben then started his own project in 2023 called Walgate wines, based on regenerative farming, qvevri winemaking, biodynamic principles and low intervention.

The ethos of Walgate is to make wines with a positive presence, not solely on an environmental level, but also in terms of cultural, social and economic impact. This is manifested in choices not just surrounding farming and wine production but also how the business operates.
