Avantis Estate Malagousia is a dry, floral white wine from the Greek island of Evia, where the winery is based, with aromas of roses, lime and mandarin - perfect with spicy food.

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Description

The Mountrichas family has been growing grapes since 1830, and today Apostolos and his wife Lenga make the wines and run Avantis Estate. The 20 hectare property is located on the island of Evia, just off the East coast of Greece.

A combination of red and white traditional and international varieties are planted, producing both blended and single varietal wines. This estate has a great reputation in Greece as one of the country's most progressive wineries, however was not imported to the UK until 2018.

Grape Variety: 100% Malagousia

Tasting Notes: Lemon-yellow with a touch of green; a fresh, dry white with a pronounced citrusy nose of grapefruit and lime with floral overtones. Tangy, juicy palate.

Goes well with green salads, grilled prawns oysters.
