The Charles Heidsieck Brut Millésimé 2013 is an outstanding vintage Champagne epitomising the house's sophisticated yet powerful style. Crafted from a painstaking selection of ten Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, this blend comprises 57% Pinot Noir and 43% Chardonnay, reflecting the unique character of the 2013 growing season.

The 2013 vintage was marked by contrasting weather conditions, including an extremely cold winter and spring, followed by brief summer heatwaves. These factors contributed to a late harvest in mid-September to early October, resulting in wines with remarkable structure and depth.
The Brut Millésimé 2013 showcases a compelling bouquet of fresh mint, white fruits such as pear and apple, citrus nuances, gentle spices, and a subtle hint of smoke. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of racy acidity and fleshy texture, leading to a long, penetrating finish. This Champagne was disgorged in 2022 with a dosage of nine grams per liter, ensuring its potential to age gracefully over the next eight to ten years.
Its rich texture and exceptional freshness make it a versatile companion for fine cuisine, pairing beautifully with dishes such as shrimp tempura or Katsu chicken with green asparagus and a touch of balsamic vinegar.
