Blackwater Irish Whisky Oaty McOatface is a non-compiant potstill delight. Distilled from a grain bill of 50% Malt, 24% Malted Oat, 12% Barley, 5% Turf-Smoked Malt, 5% Rye and 4% Peated Oats.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

Blackwater Distillery, based on the south coast of Ireland, is creating limited, innovative Irish Whiskies. The small-scale distillery crafts small batches that are unique in style and character. In the 1970’s Irish Whiskey had largely been redesigned as a blended product, so the flavours that made Irish the world’s whiskey of choice were lost to time. On a journey to re-discover the true characteristics of Irish whiskey, spirits writer and TV producer Peter Mulryan set about on a journey to uncover lost flavours and rediscover the traditional distillation process that makes Irish whiskey so unique – it was a journey back to its roots. Blackwater’s small-scale production allows for meticulous attention to detail. With a double distillation process, and a focus on the source of the flavour, found from the grain, the whiskies are made using 100% Irish malt, raw barley, oats, wheat and rye to retain maximum character and flavour.

Blackwater’s Irish Whisky Small Batch Release Oaty McOatface was distilled 18 05 2021. Limited to 1800 bottles It’s a non-compliant potstill whisky at 47.2% abv. Produced from a grain mashbill of 50% Malt, 24% Malted Oat, 12% Barley, 5% Turf-Smoked Malt, 5% rye and 4% Peated Oats. Tasting notes of sweet breakfast porridge and smoked maple cookie. It’s double-turfed, double-oated, double-distilled and double-casked. A modern twist on an old tune.
