The Bunnahabhain 14 Year Old Ruby Port Cask Finish, released for Fèis Ìle 2024, is a limited-edition Islay single malt whisky that showcases the distillery's unpeated style with a unique twist. Matured initially in bourbon casks for 11 years, it was then transferred into ruby port hogsheads for a 3-year finish, imparting rich, fruity characteristics to the spirit. Bottled at 58.7% ABV, this expression offers robust notes of cherries, dark chocolate, and red berries, leading into a lingering, spicy finish. The port cask influence adds depth and complexity, making it a distinctive release in Bunnahabhain's lineup.
