Description

Ca’ De' Medici is a historic, family-run Italian winery located in Reggio Emilia, within the Emilia-Romagna. Founded in 1890 by Remigio Medici and his sons, the estate grew from a small 19th-century family inn into an internationally recognised brand, earning a gold medal at the 1911 International Exposition in Rome. Today, the winery is managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Medici family. It combines traditional winemaking techniques and gapes with modern commercial production. The winery specializes in authentic, high-quality sparkling wines, focusing primarily on local grape varieties like Lambrusco di Sorbara and Lambrusco Grasparossa. The recent installation of solar panels means that the winery produces 70% of its own energy, and the aim is to become completely sustainable in the near future.

The Lambrusco Grasparossa Remigio 100 is made from the traditional mono-fermentation technique starting with free-run must from thick skinned Lambrusco Grasparossa grapes grown in the hills of Scandiano and Canossa around Castelvetro di Modena. Deep ruby in colour, this is packed with broad dark cherry fruits, aromas of wild herbs and spice, and a gentle touch of tannin. A satisfyingly gastronomic Lambrusco.

Delivery

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £125 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.
