From the renowned Château de Beaucastel estate, Coudoulet de Beaucastel delivers serious wines at a more accessible price. The Cotes Du Rhone Blanc can travel under the radar, but it is a partially oaked, silky, textured wine with delicious plump, creamy white peach, citrus rind and nougat notes.

Château de Beaucastel, guided by the Perrin family for over a century, stands as one of the most celebrated names in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. With roots tracing back to the 16th century, the estate has long been a benchmark for Rhône excellence. Coudoulet de Beaucastel, often referred to as "Baby Beaucastel," is sourced from 30 hectares of organically farmed vineyards located just outside the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
The vineyards are located just east of the vineyard of Beaucastel on the other side of the A7 motorway. The Coudoulet soil has many similarities to that of Beaucastel itself. It consists of Molasse seabed covered by alluvial alpine deposits. These pebbles called “Galets Roulés” play a big role: they take in the heat during the day and let it off slowly at night, which gives a good start to the vines in the Spring.A blend of Bourboulenc 30%, Marsanne 30%, Viognier 30%, Clairette 10%; the hand-picked grapes are collected in baskets prior to sorting, pneumatic pressing and clarification of the must, fermentation partially in oak barrels and partially in steel tanks. Aged for eight months in barrels and steel tanks, before blending and bottling, without cold stabilisation.
