Tasting Notes

Characterised by a deep red hue, and a deeply perfumed nose, this wine shows excellent fruit concentration, with black cherries, cassis and plum being and the forefront, which slowly develop into supple leather and spice. The finish is long and complex, this combined with a bright and vibrant acidity make this a wine that one can’t help but come back to again and again.

How To Enjoy

This wine is well-rounded with powerful fruit concentration. This, and it’s excellent level of acidity make it an excellent partner for many food pairings. This wine performs particularly well with duck and fowl, so try alongside a rich duck ragu to take advantage of the fruity character of this wine. As a cheese pairing, try something rich and aromatic to showcase the aged complexity of this wine.
