Cinco de Mayo drinks
Cinco de Mayo is when Mexico celebrates its victory over France at the Battle of Puebla on 5th May 1862. It has become a worldwide celebration of all things Mexican. And to accompany the fiesta of music, enchiladas, mole and other classic Mexican street food, there's plenty of Mexican drinks to choose from. But Mexico is probably more famous for its spirits distilled from agave plants: well-known Tequila and its smokier, artisanal cousin, Mezcal. There are plenty of ways to enjoy these national drinking treasures when mixing up an excellent margarita cocktail, shooting, or contemplatively sipping.
