Description

Teresa Heuzenroeder is a celebrated Australian winemaker with over 30 years of experience crafting award-winning cool-climate wines. Combining scientific precision with creative intuition, she is renowned for her expertise in sparkling and white winemaking across cool-climate regions Tasmania, Adelaide Hills, Eden Valley and King Valley. With her scientific background and eye for detail, Teresa discovered her passion for sparkling wine in the intricate balance of art and science. About the Producer

Fruit is sourced from selected cool climate vineyards across Tasmania, ranging from the Pipers River and Tamar Valley regions in the north to the Coal River Valley in the south. Specially crafted individual batches form the basis of this Cuvée. Méthode Tasmanoise is more than just a practice of making luxury Tasmanian sparkling wine.

Hand-picking, gentle whole bunch pressing, cool fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation, complex assemblage and extended ageing on lees after bottle fermentation, all combine to produce a stylish and complex wine. To maximise complexity in the final wine, batches are kept separate during winemaking. Released with a minimum three months of bottle age.

Tasting Notes

Very pale gold in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose displays aromas of honeysuckle, citrus zest and fresh strawberries from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit. Extended time on lees during secondary fermentation contributes more complex aromas of nougat and roasted nuts. The palate is balanced with delicate fruit flavour, fine creamy texture and a refreshing natural acidity. The finish is dry and fresh with lingering flavours of citrus and nougat. Once released, this wine is ready to enjoy. A perfect match with natural oysters, fritto misto with lemon aioli or grilled garlic asparagus.

Delivery

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £125 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

Returns

We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition.
You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

Excludes perishable or personalised products or those products that have been specified as non-returnable.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.
