J. J. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett is sublime. Medium-dry, from the notoriously-steep slate slopes of the Wehlener Sonnenuhr, it combines racy green apple and mineral notes. Taut and long.

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Description

Founded in the 1920s Joh. Jos. Prum is one of Germany’s greatest wineries, yet the prices remain relatively reasonable. They make classic Mosel Rieslings in the traditional off-dry style from some of the regions best vineyards. The famously-steep slate soils of the Wehlener Sonnenuhr (or “sundial”) vineyard produces their signature wines, which combine racy acidity with zesty, floral, citrus and mineral notes, effortlessly balancing delicacy with underlying intensity. These are whites capable of long ageing, however the heat of the 2018 vintage has produced a release with plenty of immediate appeal.
