Elements 1.0 is the first release in a series from the renowned Islay distillery that looks to showcase the facets of the production that makes the whiskies so uniquely Laphroaig. This expression offers huge flavours, in the way of woody peat smoke, clove, smoky bacon and liquorice.

There are three experiments that have been brought together to create this unique whisky. Firstly a combination of cloudy and semi-cloudy wort brings forward more tropical notes. Secondly the distillers used both 8.5 and 11- tonne mashes combining the past and present of the distillery production norms and finally the whisky uses 100% Islay malt.
