Laphroaig Oak Select is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery, crafted by blending whiskies aged in a variety of casks, including Oloroso sherry butts, Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, quarter casks, first-fill bourbon casks, and finished in virgin American oak barrels. This diverse maturation imparts a balanced profile, featuring the signature peat smoke Laphroaig is known for, complemented by notes of red fruits, vanilla, and a subtle sweetness. Bottled at 40% ABV, it offers a smooth and approachable introduction to Laphroaig's smoky character.
