Lavradores de Feitoria is a co-operative winery in the Douro formed in 2000, as the result of the merger of 12 farmers (Lavradores). They have come together to pool resources and cultivate synergies to achieve what would be unattainable individually. Together they own 600 hectares, located in the three distinct sub regions of the Douro: Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. They display a fresh style – reds are expressive and elegant, very much the new approach of Douro and the whites show complexity and depth - from the Lavra entry range, to the top tier, Meruge.
