Description

A tradition built on centuries-old family recipes, natural ingredients, and an unwavering dedication to craftsmanship. As a proud member of Les Henokiens, an exclusive club of bicentenary family businesses, Nardini has upheld its heritage for over two centuries, preserving the essence of a product cherished worldwide. Since its founding, Nardini has remained deeply connected to its origins, honouring a legacy that continues to inspire. Over 200 years of history have made this name synonymous with quality, tradition, and the true spirit of Italy. Often called “the noble cousin of limoncello,” Acqua di Cedro is a refined, grappa-based liqueur crafted from the peel of the Cedro lemon. Stripping away excess sugar, it offers a purer, more sophisticated citrus experience. The Cedro fruit, sourced mainly from the Lake Garda region, lends its aromatic skin to create a crystalline liqueur with an enticing balance of sweetness and a crisp, dry finish.

Tasting Notes

With bold yet delicate flavours, Acqua di Cedro delivers the essence of citron—imagine a fusion of lemon, a hint of lime, and the fresh scent of green citrus leaves. In the glass, it’s clear and radiant, exuding a bright aroma of fresh lemon peel with subtle white floral notes. The palate is lively and complex, blending Meyer lemon, lemongrass, and yuzu, with a hint of white pepper and ginger on the finish.

How To Enjoy

Best enjoyed straight from the freezer or over ice with a twist of lemon, this versatile liqueur also shines in cocktails. A small splash transforms martinis, Lemon Drops, spritzes, and other refreshing drinks, making Acqua di Cedro an essential ingredient for those who appreciate elegance in every sip.
