About the Producer

Aged for a year in French oak barrels, this Pinot Noir unfolds with brilliant ruby hues and enticing aromas of blackcurrant, cherry stone, and delicate herbs. On the palate, it is dense and juicy, with cassis, fine tannins, and a velvety texture that evolves beautifully over time. The clay-limestone soils of the well-exposed slopes bordering Santenay contribute to the wine’s depth and complexity.

Tasting Notes

Though delightful in its youth, the 2023 Maranges will continue to develop elegance and nuance until 2031. Its balance of fruit, freshness, and subtle spice makes it a perfect match for roasted fowl, lamb, or rabbit, while its structure pairs beautifully with country pâtés and creamy cheeses like Brillat-Savarin, Brie, or Reblochon. Whether enjoyed now or aged to perfection, this vintage captures the essence of Maranges in every sip.
