Description

A new wine from the up and coming Tregole estate, where Sophie Conte and her mother Edith have revitalised a once derelict property and are now unlocking its great potential, in tandem with a conversion to organics. This is from a single Sangiovese vineyard planted in 1972. Aged in a combination of large old oak barrels followed by a year in bottle. A dramatic wine with explosive dark cherry, balsamic hints, orange peel. Full of energy with ripe, long tannins
