We are delighted to announce The Lakes Chocolatier as an Amathus exclusive release. This highly-sought after and award-winning (IWSC Gold Medal) single malt from the esteemed English distillery is a remarkable whisky. Chocolatier offers deep and dark golden amber hues, alongside and intense nose of aged-oak, spice and quince. The palate reveals expressive grain, sherry notes, coffee, lemon and lime zest and plenty of rich and spicy cocoa – earning its wonderful name of Chocolatier. This rich and powerful single malt shows incredible smoothness and refinement, evolving throughout the tasting experience and culminating in a long and lingering finish of chocolate and coffee.
