A single malt that has been 30 years in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks to achieve the right balance. The Double Cask line depicts an amazing voyage of wood from the rich forests of Ohio, Missouri and Kentucky to the lush forests of the French Pyrenees, northern Spain and the huge green woodlands of northern Spain.
Given that wood influence is the single biggest contributor to the quality, natural colour, and distinctive smells and flavours of our single malt whiskies, this release exemplifies The Macallans unrelenting commitment to uncompromised excellence.
