The 2021 Valentini Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is a rare and exceptional white, crafted only in the best years from low-yielding vines in Abruzzo. One of the two standout producers in the region, Valentini’s approach is meticulous: the grapes are aged in large, old oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop Burgundian levels of richness, minerality, and complexity. The 2021 vintage offers delicate aromas of citrus, white flowers, and almond, while the palate reveals a striking balance of vibrant acidity, depth, and an underlying minerality. With its remarkable structure and ageing potential, this is a truly outstanding expression of Trebbiano. See More

Description

Valentini is one of Abruzzo’s most respected producers, renowned for its exceptional, low-yielding wines. The estate, which has been family-run for generations, focuses on traditional, low-intervention methods. Grapes are grown in old vines and aged in large, old oak barrels, allowing the wines to develop depth and complexity. Valentini’s Trebbiano and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo are crafted in limited quantities and are prized for their ability to age and express the true character of the region.
