Description

The Werner winery is ranked amongst the oldest-established winegrowing estates near the Mosel river, looking back at a long history.

A family property since 1650, is run by a husband and wife team, Bernhard and Margaret Werner, and has select 6 hectares of steep slope vineyards, and produces some brilliant dry, off-dry and sweet Rieslings and a very rare Mosel Pinot Noir.

Grape Varieties: 100% Riesling

Farming Practices: Sustainable

Tasting Notes: A classic Mosel Riesling with a fresh lemony fragrance on the nose and complex minerality and stone fruits on the palate as acidity and sweetness exist in perfect harmony.

Sugar Level: 47.8g/l

Closure: Screw Cap
