Yalumba’s The Cigar celebrates Coonawarra, one of Australia’s most celebrated Cabernet Sauvignon regions. Its name refers to the distinctive cigar-shaped strip of rich red terra rossa soil over limestone, where the combination of excellent drainage and a long, cool ripening season helps develop Cabernet’s hallmark structure and aromatic complexity. The grapes come from Yalumba’s Menzies Vineyard, established in 1975. The wine was matured for 18 months in French barriques, 18% new, with the balance in older French and Hungarian oak, adding complexity without overwhelming the fruit. Bright cherry, dark plum and blueberry mingle with chocolate, cedar and mint. Firm yet finely textured tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, lingering finish give this wine excellent structure and the potential to cellar for 12–15 years. Pair with barbecued lamb, prime beef or mature hard cheeses.

Delivery

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £125 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
