The Dalmore 17 year old fits perfectly in between the 15 and 18 year old expressions in distillery's core range. The 17 year old has been matured initially in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, which has imparted sweet vanilla and warming nutmeg on the whisky. It is then finished in a selection of the highest-quality oloroso sherry casks, adding wood spice, caramel and helpings of orange marmalade to the profile. This is a rich and luxurious Highland single malt and a worthy addition to Dalmore's fantastic range.
