Description

Founded in 1849, Yalumba is Australia’s oldest family-owned winery, located in the Barossa Valley. Fiercely independent across six generations, the estate is renowned for its sustainable practices, a unique on-site cooperage, and benchmark old-vine Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon blends.

The Cabernet Sauvignon for the Signature is sourced from three vineyards in the Barossa Valley, with vineyard diversity providing the rich, lifted aromatics and palate structure for which The Signature is known. The Shiraz comes from vineyards of varying ages, including the oldest, planted in 1925. These blocks feature sandy loam with yellow sand and ochre clay over red clay, producing a Shiraz with sweetness, fullness, depth, and complexity.
