Château Bonalgue is an up-and-coming Pomerol property, that has recently been producing superb expressions of Merlot-dominant red Bordeaux, with succulent, medium-full dark plum and mocha notes accented with complex spice notes

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

Description

The 9.41-hectare vineyard of Chateau Bonalgue is planted to 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc and are located just northeast of Libourne in a slightly lower sector of the Pomerol appellation. The vineyard consists of sand, gravel, and clay with studded with iron. 90% Merlot, 10% Cab Franc aged in 50% new French oak barrels. 2015 is a great vintage, and has produced a red wine loaded with dark, intense yet supple plum and damson fruit that is starting to open up and demonstrate an array of complex tobacco and coffee notes with hints of meaty spice. Drinking now and for at least the next 10 years.
