An exceptional Riesling from FX Pichler, perhaps the greatest winery of Austria. The Wachau Loibenberg vineyard is on narrow, south-facing terraces of gneiss, resulting in wines of both richness and minerality.

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

FX Pichler is regarded as perhaps the greatest producer of Austria. This brilliant winery is located in the banks of the Danube, with the long glass windows of the elevated tasting room looking back across the precipitous slopes that are the source of many of Austrian finest wines, including these. Rudi Pichler makes a range of wines from different vineyard sites along this stretch of the Danube. The Loibenberg vineyard consists of narrow steep terraces on mainly gneiss rock, facing almost directly south resulting in wines of both richness and minerality. This exceptional Riesling is vinified and aged in large old neutral oak casks before bottling. This is full of intense yellow plum and papaya notes of wet stone.
