Description

The Gaja Sito Moresco wine combines the complexity and longevity of the Nebbiolo grape with the pleasant acidity of the Barbera. The Merlot grape gives body and harmony to this excellent Piedmont red, a gateway to the unique wines produced by Angelo Gaja that are so highly sought after around the world.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, there are seductive tones of redcurrant and cassis, as well as some intriguing spicy and herbal notes. Ripe fruits are accompanied by rich spice, smoke, and cedar on the palate, which is full, silky, and juicy. Overall, it's bright and lively, with silky tannins and subtle acidity.
