The Burrier family own one of the most highly rated wineries of Burgundy’s Macon region. Their Pouilly Fuissé is a full bodied, barrel-fermented Chardonnay packed with expressive ripe nectarine and pineapple flavours with notes of grilled nuts and vanilla, rounded out with complex mineral freshness. Presented here in a magnum.

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.

Description

The Burrier family have been present in Burgundy for 500 years, and Georges Burrier is now one of the outstanding wineries of the Mâconnais, in the south of the region. The winery itself is located in the village of Fuissé, in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, situated where the contours are most marked, around the rocky cliffs of Vergisson and Solutré, on the slopes of Mount Pouilly and the circus of Fuissé. Here the vineyard covers Jurassic clay and limestone soils and the wines reach impressive levels of intensity. The wines are aged in the centuries old maze of traditional cellars under the winery.
