Description

The wines are crafted by talented veteran winemaker Frank Meaker who has just overseeen the shift towards completely vegan production methods. A wide range of wines are made, all with the common thread of great value and varietal definition.

From vines planted on the edge of the Berg river which provides a cooling influence and freshness. A 5-wire trellis system is used, and a vareiety of cover crops and mulches used bwteeen the vines. Biodiversity is encouraged and a program of strict pruning and leaf management keep the vineyard in optimum health.

The vines are harvested by hand and the wine fermented an a combination of old and new 500 litre French oak barrels where it remains on lees for a further 11 months before bottling.

Grape: 100% Chardonnay

Tasting Note: An outstanding Chardonnay, full of ripe pineapple and nectarine flavours buttressed with elements of marzipan and baking spice. Full-bodied and creamy textured with great complexity.

Sugar Level: 3.3g/l

Food Match: Ideal with panfried salmon, roast chicken and soft cheeses.

Farming Practices: Organic - Vegan - Contains Sulfites.

Delivery

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £125 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
