Pedra Cancela is a historic winery based in Portugal’s Dao region. This medium-full bodied red is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro & Tinta Roriz. Soft, succulent ripe plum and mulberry notes with a hint of black coffee and velvety approachable tannins.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Description

Pedra Cancela is a historic 20 hectare winery based in the heart of the Dao region.

The Dao lies in the north of the country where warm days are moderated by the local granite soils which add freshness to the wines. This is made from gapes grown on the estate's oldest vines which are 60 years old.

The grapes are destemmed then extractively fermented in tradional stone tanks, before ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Grape: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro & Tinta Roriz

Tasting Notes: Soft, succulent ripe plum and mulberry notes with a hint of coffee. Medium-full with velvety approachable tannins.
