Amarguinha is a traditional Portuguese almond liqueur, with an extremely sweet flavour profile, and just a touch of bitterness. A squeeze of lemon is usually added in order to cut through the rich and viscous body of the liqueur. This expression makes for a wonderful after-dinner aperitif.
