Blackwater No5 Irish Gin has a classic juniper forward profile, made with fresh lemons, two types of orange and a blend of spices it is distilled in 400-litre batches in West Waterford.
Blackwater Distillery is situated on the banks of the Blackwater River. Its Irish name is ‘An Abhainn Mhor’ which means ‘The Big River’. And big it certainly is. Sometimes referred to as the Munster Blackwater, it rises on the Cork, Kerry border and flows due east into Waterford, flowing past the distillery in Ballyduff.
