Vermouth in Gonzalez Byass dates back to 1896 and was relaunched in 2016. Its uniqueness is due to the base wine being Fino Sherry from Jerez. La Copa Extra Seco has herbaceous notes of Wormwood, cinnamon and clove in perfect with sweet red fruits. Perfect as an aperitif with soda over crushed ice.
In 1835, Manuel María González Angel arrived in Jerez, intent on making a name for himself as a businessman. In that same year he purchased a small winery and began to produce and export his own wines. The success of legendary Tio Pepe which began production here was highly successful and today, Bodegas Tío Pepe is known around the world as one of the leading producers of sherry and Brandy de Jerez. Vermouth in Gonzalez Byass dates back to 1896. The La Copa range is based on these recipes found in the company archives dating back to 1896.
