The Meletti Family has been producing extraordinary hand crafted cordials for generations. Silvio Meletti started the company in 1870 when he endeavored to produce an anise-flavored liqueur that would rival or surpass the best products of Italy and France.
The very special flavour of Meletti Anisetta is a result of slow evaporative distillation and the quality of the anise (Pimpinella Anisum), which is sourced from clay soils near Ascoli Piceno in Marche, Italy. The result is a liqueur that is rich, smooth and exceptionally flavourful.
Tasting Note: Crystal clear, off dry with an intense liquorice flavour - rich and warming.
