Newton House Gin is the first Premium London dry gin that is now being distilled and bottled in Somerset.
The small batch hand crafted spirit comprises 12 botanicals, five of which are inspired by botanicals grown in the gardens of the impressive 60 acre estate in which is situated the 17th century Jacobean manor, Newton House, Yeovil. Newton House gin is distilled in the old dairy of the house using 60 litre copper alembic pot stills.
It is cut back to an ABV of 43.2% using spring water from the estate and then bottled and labelled by hand in the distillery.
The end result is a classic London dry flavour profile with a perfectly smooth finish. The individual citrus notes and flavours display a sense of the gardens and grounds here at Newton House.
