Sibiliana Nero d'Avola Beltramo

Founded in 1962, Sibiliana is a cooperative of vine growers from Sicily. They work together to produce exceptional quality wines and are recognised as one of Italy's leading producers of Grillo and Nero D'Avola. Pioneers of organic viticulture in Sicily, several years ago they identified vineyards ideal for low intervention grape-growing  and have also harnessed modern technology to make vegan-friendly wines which successfully represent their origins and respect the local environment. Located on the western hills of Sicily, the vineyards overlook the Mediterranean sea and benefit from the perfect combination of hot summer days tempered by sea breezes and sunshine; the perfect conditions to grow healthy grapes. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to retain the aromatic fruit character.

Tasting Notes: Juicy wild cherry fruit with a hint of violet and a little black pepper. Medium-bodied and fresh with supple tannins.

Food Match: Ideal with pizza and tomato-based pasta dishes.
